Mr. Evemy joined L&B in 2021 and is a member of L&B’s Investment Committee.  He has over 40 years experience in the commercial real estate industry both in England and the U.S.  Throughout his career, he has invested as a fiduciary on behalf of some of the largest pension plans in the world.

In his role as Director of L&B’s research group he is responsible for the staffing and direction of the research team.  His objective is to ensure that research is deeply integrated into every part of L&B’s Investment process.   In particular, Mr. Evemy is committed to the design and implementation of thematic investment strategies.

Prior to joining L&B, Mr. Evemy was responsible for research and strategy development at Sarofim Realty Advisors.  He was a member of the of their Investment Committee for over 20 years and was actively involved in both commingled funds and large separate accounts.  He was both an investor and an investor in several of Sarofim’s investment strategies including “build-to-core” multifamily and an innovative, demographically led ethnic retail acquisition program.  Mr. Evemy was educated at Cambridge University where he obtained an MA in Land Economy.  He qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in London before moving to the U.S. in 1984.
